I love to see the temple

Ben is out of town so Eliza and I have some extra free time. We miss Ben that's for sure. We went and walked around the temple. Little did I know Eliza could fit through the fence. She kept going in and getting just far enough away from me that she thought was ok. Little did she know I couldn't fit in and she could have gone as far as she wanted! I'm glad she didn't. It was fun. I love that Eliza knows what the temple is. I hope she always remembers how important it is.

Krista's Shower

I love my in-laws.  I have said it before that I couldn't have married into a greater family. Tonight was so much fun. We had a shower for Krista who is getting married next month.  We ate yummy food, Haylee performed a musical hit, and we already planned our Christmas gift exchange! The pictures show how fun the night was.

Another race for the cure under the belt...

Zoo Carousel

I thought Eliza would LOVE the carousel at the zoo. I was wrong. She wouldn't even try sitting on one of the animals, moving or not. But, she loved sitting on the rocker and dancing to the music. Maybe next time!

Harmon's Baby Contest

Eliza cruising around Harmon's at Station Park. I think this year she has a really good chance of winning!

What a day!

What a day I had today! We started out the morning at the beautiful Grand America for breakfast with our friend Ali. It was of course delicious. Breakfast is by far my favorite meal there.

After Breakfast we rushed to a baptism for one of the kids in Ben's primary class. Always a neat thing to see.  Ben took Eliza home for a nap and I went to eat again! Seriously, too much food in one day... Grandma has been dying to get to City Creek so today was the day. We went to celebrate my Mom's birthday and mother's day. We had quite the experience at the Cheesecake Factory. Not the best service ever. But, Grandma LOVED it! She is usually such a picky eater. She ate more than I've seen her eat in a long time. Then when the cheesecake came she dove right in before we could take the picture. Grandma had to see "The Bridge" as she kept saying. She is so glad down town is back!

After lunch I went home and we headed back out. We went to Ammon and Michelle's to celebrate Abby's birthday. Then of course we had to eat again! We went to Trolley Square and let the girls enjoy Pottery Barn Kids. Then we ate at The Spaghetti Factory and chatted the night away (until the kids were tired...)

Happy Birthday

Happy birthday to the best Mom in the world.
And best friend.
And best everything.
Wish you were here.

Cinco de Mayo

Another fun party hosted by Haylee! Honestly, I don't know where she finds the time! Eliza had so much fun with her little cousins. How can you not have fun when you are eating yummy food, making maracas and tootsie roll peppers, and hitting a pinata?! Oh, and don't forget the parade!

Best Husband Ever!

How did I get so lucky?! I had a bad day. A really bad day. And Ben knew my Mom's birthday and mother's day are always just hard days. He came home with these flowers and tears welled up in my eyes. They are amazing. I took a picture of Eliza by them just to show how TALL they are. I love the vase. I love the flowers. But mostly I love Ben!
