Canyon

We had family home evening with some of the Hodgkinson's tonight at Mueller Park Canyon. It has been a long time since I've been up there and I think it was Eliza's first! The first thing Eliza loved was the river. She kept yelling "FISH". I didn't see any fish but I guess that's where she thinks they should be! She's so funny. For dessert I brought the fixings for campfire cones. They were pretty good. Something different and kind of fun. We had a great time in the beautiful mountains!

Eliza preferred her cone plain. She got mad when I told her to come back from the bridge and threw the cone down. She's starting to throw little tantrums. She's a princess what can I say!

Great Grandma

Eliza loves Great Grandma Hazel. She loves throwing peanuts to the birds, eating cheese, swinging on the tire swing, reading books, walking around the yard looking at grandpa's ceramic animals, and snuggling. I'm so glad Eliza has this grandma in her life.

Happy Arbor Day!

Today was a free admission day to Red Butte Gardens. Happy Arbor Day! Haylee invited us to go and of course we were so excited! I was worried last night when it was pouring rain but when Ben went golfing this morning I figured it was fine. He must not mind golfing in the cold because it was COLD! And there were a zillion field trips there so it was just crazy. We got a few pictures and headed out. On our way home I thought it would be fun to go visit Grandpa Hodgkinson at work. The kids loved it. It was a great morning even though it was cold!

A picture worth a thousand words

I came home from young women's and found this picture of Eliza on the camera. It's seriously one of my favorite pictures of her. Her face is messy, her hair is crazy, but she's never looked so cute!

Benihana

A few weeks ago we watched Haylee's kids while they went to Benihana. Haylee told us about her birthday gift certificate that you can sign up for on their website. So, we did it and we went. It was lots of fun. I guess my birthday is now really, REALLY over!

Tulip Festival

Today Eliza and I joined Adrienne and Beau at the tulip festival at Thanksgiving Point. Adrienne is the wife of one of Ben's coworkers. We hung out a lot on the cruise and thought our kids would have fun together. We had a great time. I took tons of pictures of course. Love my little Eliza! Especially when she's running and dancing in the flowers. Prepare for lots of pictures...
