Sugarland

I love music.
I love concerts.
I love Jess.
So this was a great night!

We went to Sugarland with Sara Bareillis opening. We were super excited for Sara and loved every second. It was a little windy and rainy which actually made it nice. Thanks Jess! I'm glad I finally got to redeem my birthday present! (And thanks for making me look really, really white next to your tan face!)

Messy

Eliza likes to hold popsicles until they melt. Then she gets mad and wants more. She actually eats some of these homemade popsicles as long as I let her do it her way. And her way is MESSY!

Wendy Woods

Ben's bosses son (long trail I know) and Wendy had a little talk about heroes. He decided to change his from Tiger Woods to her. Ben helped her change this poster to accommodate his new role model. Hilarious.

Drinking

Eliza loves water. Especially from my water bottle. She's actually pretty good at it even when it's all the way full and heavy! Love this girl!

Manners

Eliza loves to have her foot up. No matter where she is sitting she finds a place for it. Ben snapped this picture and I just think it's priceless.

Long Night

Red Butte Gardens

If you haven't been to Red Butte Gardens you should definitely go! It's an amazingly peaceful place with beauty all around. And, it makes for some great pictures!

11 months

Eliza at 11 months...
saw fireworks for the first time
snuggles and says mmmmmm
gives the best kisses
splashes in the tub
loves elmo, puppies, swimming, cookies
feeds sophie the giraffe
watches and listens for birds
purses lips
eats popsicles from moms mouth like a bird
says dad dad dad all day long
plays peek a boo and patty cake
thinks it's hilarious and tries to wake us up we pretend to be asleep
will play at a park all day long

Ouch

Eliza was playing on the bed with Ben. She fell right onto his knee. Luckily it went away pretty quickly. She has such a cute face even when it's mangled!

Delish!

Ben makes the BEST chocolate chip cookies. This time he added a few surprises on top. Caramel, chocolate, and sea salt. They are amazing! Don't make them again for a long, long time...

Water Party

Annie had such a fun 5th birthday party. There was yummy food, a slip and slide, and hello kitty! Eliza loved most of it...she wasn't so sure about the slip and slide even after daddy's pep talk. I love love love Annie's outfit. I think it needs to be in a magazine. Thanks for such a fun a party!
