Jess invited us to the friends and family event at the new Harmon's downtown. It's pretty awesome. Especially when there weren't a lot of people there. We got to sample some food and take a tour. And, Eliza got her picture taken with Bob and Randy. She wouldn't crack a smile. Just like her last picture with them! She definitely smiled when she broke into that chocolate rose.

Big Day!
Eliza had a big day today. We went swimming at the rec center. She LOVED it! I'm glad to know we have somewhere to go she loves when she's sick of being in the house. After swimming she took a giant nap. When Ben got home we decided to go to dinner. We were going to go somewhere quick since Eliza doesn't love eating out so much. But, we ended up at Brio. The. Best. I love it there. Anyway. Our waiter was super nice. He could tell we felt bad Eliza was being kind of crazy. He asked if it was ok if he gave her some pizza dough to play with. We said sure. When he brought it he said when she's done the manager will come and take her back to the kitchen where she can make her own little pizza! (Don't worry, we could see her the entire time.) The manger came and took Eliza. Eliza didn't even hesitate to go with a perfect stranger as long as it meant no more high chair. She went back to the "fire" and made a little pizza. It was honestly the cutest thing. She came back to the table and we all tried her creation. It was delish! What a great day...

E Sucker
Daddy went out of town for work for a couple days. He brought home Eliza a sucker to show how much he missed her. She missed him too. And loved the sucker!

Toes toes toes
Grandpa gave Eliza some instruments for Christmas. Jess put some on her toes on Christmas day. Today she must have remembered that because this is how I found her in her room. She loves toes!

Real life law and order
I love criminal tv for some reason. I always have. I used to watch Law and Order SVU with my Mom every week. I don't watch it anymore. We went to Costo tonight. They were closed but we saw quite a show. A man punched his son, about 12 years old, square in the face. Cops came. An ambulance came. Ben appeased me and we watched from the car for a bit. I wanted to punch the man in the face. Child abuse is one thing I have no patience for.
Sushi class
For our anniversary I gave Ben a sushi class. We finally went and had so much fun. We have made sushi before so knew quite a bit but we learned some very important skills. I can't wait to try it at home!
