Paris

When Ben told me we were going to Paris I was ecstatic to say the least. The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the macarons! Reese wrote and drew about what she would be doing while we were gone. Heather and Greg were so gracious to watch our girls while we were gone. Eliza and Reese were just as excited to stay with their cousins and we were to go to Paris.  As if watching our girls wasn't enough Heather invited us to lunch before we left. We had gourmet hamburgers with all the fixings.  We then said goodbye to our girls and went to our house where Clark and Wendy picked us up and drove us to the airport. We were lucky enough to have first class flights with nice reclining beds. The food was pretty gourmet for airplane food. My favorite part was the warm nuts and ice cream sundaes. Our flight attendants were super nice. One gave us her favorite map of Paris. We also met Aunt Rosanne's best friend who was a flight attendant that day. Even after a yummy meal and a nice chair, neither of us slept very well. I don't think I slept a wink. I forgot to put my earplugs in my carry on and without them I was hopeless. I watched lots of movies and heck I was on my way to Paris so no complaints!
