What do you think of your mother? For me, whenever I think of her, I cannot help but admire her strength, determination, hard work and unconditional love. I know we all have great things to say about our mothers, how special they are in our lives and how we all love them. Are we doing something about it? Are we just saying, I love you to them and that’s it? Is that enough? Do you remember the time that you suddenly need your mother? Maybe because you had a bad dream or if you did something wrong that your dad will for sure get mad. Remember how she embraced you, kissed you and said don’t worry, everything will be fine, I am here. And then, you know you are safe. They shape us, correct us, and lead us in the right paths. My mother stopped holding my hand on my path 6 years ago today. She isn't hear to be my example anymore. I am trying with all my might to remember her example and embrace. I would give more than anything to have her hug me and tell me that I'm a good mother, that I'm a good wife, that I'm doing ok and what I'm not doing ok in will be ok. We live a face paced life where time goes way too fast. Make every second count. Cherish the time with your mothers. I wish I knew to cherish mine even more. Take more pictures. Spend more time. Make more memories. Write it all down. Do it now while you have the opportunity. Always remember. I know I will.

Beautiful post Kristy! I miss my mom too, and she's only been gone on the cruise for 3 days. I'm sad that I never knew your mom, but if she's as amazing as everyone says she is, you MUST be like her! Love you!!
This is a beautiful tribute. Your mom is gorgeous! I'm sure she would be so proud of the wife and mother that you are. Love ya girl! :)
Kristy - Your Mom would absolutely be proud of you as a wife and mother. She lives on through you and Eliza's relationship. The love she gave you and the things she taught you are part of your life forever, and Eliza will know her because of the great Mom you are. I know it is hard not being able to share with your Mom all of the wonderful things that are happening in your lives right now, but there will absolutely be a time when you will be able to do that. You are right. Cherish this time you have with your own children, because it goes by so quickly!! Love you Kristy! xoxoxo
There's no doubt in my mind that your mom is so proud of the mother, wife, sister, and friend you are. I know I didn't know your mother, but I do know that she had to be pretty amazing considering how incredible you are! I love you! Thanks for this reminder of cherishing those we love.
